Known for her role as Gloria Delgado-Pritchett, actress Sofía Vergara recently gave an interview to Allure on May 28, 2024, wherein the publication dubbed the actress “pro-plastic surgery”.
Commenting on sticking to Botox for tiny tweaks to her face, the actress mentioned:
“I don’t believe in filler. I feel filler does good when you’re really young and you want a little bit more cheeks or to plump your lips a little bit. At my age—51—I feel it’s not going to make you look younger.”
Commenting on the “full advantage” agenda, the actress stated:
“I feel like I’m going to do every plastic surgery that I can do when I’m ready.”
Her reason for not indulging in plastic surgery till she’s ready is the downtime involved. Given she’s in front of the camera regularly, she can’t afford to sit in the house recovering for weeks.

Sofía Vergara’s interview with Allure was a part of the event she held for her suncare brand, Toty, in San Diego. Talking about the difference sun protection has made to her skin, the actress said that she can compare herself to her friends who have never worn sunscreen and they all regret not paying attention to her sun protection advice.
In her conversation with Allure, Vergara talked about the concept of being a “certain age” being ridiculous and proceeded to talk about menopause being a dirty word in 2024. Normalizing the notion of menopause, the Griselda actress stated that regardless of one’s economic status or ethnicity, the one thing that all women are “going to get is menopause”.
Sofía Vergara also shared that some of her girlfriends who are her age struggle with sleeping, and night sweats, indicating the importance of making use of products that can lessen the suffering of these symptoms.
Talking about her thoughts on menopause, Vergara mentioned that she’s not scared of it and is already in the pre-menopause phase. She also talked about experiencing disparity with her memory owing to the same and mentioned that becoming forgetful of things didn’t happen to her before.
Additionally, Sofía Vergara also told Allure about how she perceives ageing. She mentioned:
“You can see the age. I shouldn’t complain because I’m 51 and I’m still healthy, and I’m very active. I still look in the mirror and I see someone beautiful. But sometimes it’s like, ‘Who are you?’ I’m still happy with what it is. I just learn to accept it’s not me. It’s a new me.”
In other news, Sofía Vergara made an appearance on The Hollywood Reporter’s Awards Chatter on May 28, 2024. The actress mentioned that she’d do the role of Gloria Delgado-Prittchett “in a second” when asked about her stance on a Modern Family revival.
