The Hawk Tuah Girl rejected movie offers
After seemingly becoming a celebrated meme online, the Hawk Tuah Girl signed for representation with The Penthouse management firm. The founder of the organization, Jonnie Forster, said that they were “glad” to launch her career and that they understood why she has become “America’s sweetheart.”
It was also reported by The Hollywood Reporter that she was getting multiple film offers. However, she rejected them since she was “not a professional actress.”
“She’s not an actress. We’ve turned down a number of movie offers, including several horror movies. One was from a mini-major company, and the others are indies. One producer wanted to reshoot his movie’s ending to include her. I just got another offer literally five minutes ago. I’ve talked to these producers and said, ‘Hire an actress,’” Forster told The Hollywood Reporter on July 13.
It seems like Hailey Welch has a good chance at booming in her business, as she has sold over $65,000 worth of merchandise since garnering fame, as per Rolling Stone.
