Emily Osment began her acting career in the late 1990s, following in the footsteps of her older brother, Haley Joel Osment. She quickly transitioned from child-focused projects to more mature roles, proving her versatility in both comedy and drama. While she has appeared in various genres, sitcoms have been the best fit for her acting style, showcasing her impeccable comedic timing and physical comedy skills.

 

Osment gained widespread recognition as Lilly Truscott in Hannah Montana, a role that allowed her to develop as a scene-stealer and later led to Hannah Montana: The Movie (2009), where she displayed a more grounded performance.
